The day before Thanksgiving was a frosty one, with snow, in downtown
Cortland.
Main and Court streets
The signals used in this picturesque business district of Cortland are
much newer, and are not Crouse-Hinds or its successor company, TCT. The
signals look just like typical New York State Department of Transportation
signals, while the streetlights look old but are actually fairly new.
The downtown definitely looks like the Bedford Falls of Its
A Wonderful Life.
Let it snow,
let it snow
The snow is flying on this day, but the pedestrian signals continue
their work. The appear to be Kentronic signals, manufactured about a decade
or so ago, but maybe they are something else.
